Design Your Own

Collaborate with us on a custom exhaust fabrication, upgrade or modification

OUR PROMISE

WE MAKE IT PERSONAL

Are you looking for your motorcycle to be lighter, more responsive, quieter, or to simply turn heads? In order to be truly, uniquely authentic, we will work with you from initial concept through to final fit to design the exhaust that meets your requirements, whatever they might be.

The Process

Step 1

We’ll collaborate with you on designing your dream exhaust, whatever stage you’re at. Either you submit an existing concept, or we can help you develop one based on your requirements.

Step 2

We’ll carefully review your design, adding our expertise and additional recommendations where relevant.

Step 3

Once you’re happy with your design and quote, you’ll be able to select your materials (again with our personalised guidance) and book your custom build in.

Step 4

The fun part: deliver your bike to our HQ and let the custom build commence.

Questions?

Can you customise how loud my exhaust will be?

Yes, absolutely! We can engineer it to sound louder or quieter at your request.

WILL I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING TO MY BIKE, SUCH AS A REMAP OR FLASH/RE-TUNE?

Our exhausts do not require additional work after they are fitted. However, because our exhausts allow for more performance from your bike, a remap or re-tune is recommended (especially in the case of our full systems).

How long will my custom build take?

This totally depends on the complexity of the engineering for your custom design and we will make you aware of this at step 3 in the process.

Do I need to deliver my bike to your HQ for a custom build?

Always get in touch with us directly to ask, as we do have some bike models at our HQ that we can work on for your build.

What makes do you sell?

Our Ready to Ride collection is currently Triumph, but our design your own is any bike.

What models do you sell?

The models we sell in our Ready to Ride collection include Triumph Bobber, Triumph Speed Twin, Triumph Street Scrambler, Triumph T100, Triumph T120, Triumph Thruxton and Triumph Speedmaster.

What payment options do you offer for your products?

Anything ordered through our shop can be paid with a credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and a transfer from your own bank account. We also have the option of checking out with Klarna, which allows you to buy now and pay later in monthly instalments

What materials are used for your products?

All our products are available in A-grade 304 Stainless Steel, with the option to choose extremely lightweight titanium for our full systems. We use the same quality titanium as is used by Formula 1 teams for their exhaust systems.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship all our products worldwide using via UPS and Parcelforce to ensure safe and speedy delivery.

Is there a warranty for custom-built exhausts?

We provide a lifetime warranty on the materials and craftsmanship for all Hitchcox Motorcycles exhausts.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, including the welds and fabrication of the exhaust. However, it does not cover any damage caused by improper use of the product, including (but not limited to) accidental damage, any damage inflicted due to a crash or road traffic incident, or damage caused by normal wear and tear.

How will I be updated on the progress of my custom build?

Tom will be in touch with messages and photo updates so that you can see how the build is progressing.

Once your final designs have been confirmed, we will give you a specific timeframe for when your exhaust will be shipped. If any further design changes are required, we will give you an updated timeframe for shipping. We’ll keep you informed of any key shipping updates wherever possible.

Can I make changes to my custom order after it's been placed?

We’ll keep you informed on how the build is progressing in case you want to make any changes in the initial stages.

Once the build enters its final stages it’s more difficult to make changes, but we will make sure you have all the information needed, as well as progress updates, to ensure you’re happy with your custom build.
