BEHIND THE WORKSHOP DOORS The All Year Motorcyclist Visits Hitchcox HQ

TAYM (The All Year Motorcyclist) made the pilgrimage this summer, riding the largely forgotten B645 through Bedfordshire, a road that rewards the patient with sweeping bends and light traffic. His Triumph Thruxton wore a Hitchcox slip-on, and by the time he arrived, the exhaust had already told him everything he needed to know. What he found inside the workshop confirmed it.

"Having fitted the Hitchcox slip-on exhaust to the Triumph Thruxton a few weeks ago, and seen the quality and finish of the exhaust, I wanted to see how they were made."

"Based close to Silverstone, the heart of British racing, meant I could ride a Bedfordshire road I haven't ridden for a good few years, the B645. With little traffic on the roads, it was possible to open up the Thruxton and listen to the Hitchcox silencer roar on acceleration and pop, crackle and bang on the roll off."

"Once there I was pleased to see that these exquisite exhausts are hand made by people with a real passion for their art, led by Tom Hitchcox, Director, Designer and fabricator. Using a mix of traditional and modern tools and techniques to create happiness for motorcyclists whether it be performance, sound or style that they desire."

Matt Silver & the Speed Twin Head to Bafflehaus

There's something about a great exhaust note that makes a café run feel like a proper occasion. Matt Silver took his Triumph Speed Twin, fitted with a Hitchcox exhaust south into Wales, pointing it towards the coffee and company of Bafflehaus. The roads, the sound, the destination: a proper motorcyclist's morning done right.

Bike Shed London 2026

The Bike Shed does something few motorcycle events manage: it makes you feel proud of this culture. The 2026 show was no different with a brilliant atmosphere, remarkable bikes and the kind of conversations you only have when everyone in the room is genuinely obsessed with motorcycles.

A huge mention to Stockwell Design, who absolutely smashed it out of the park with the bikes he brought to the event. Extraordinary work from start to finish,  make sure you check it out: https://www.lind.co.uk/stockwell-design

Content we've loved recently!

The best part of what we do is watching the community ride, shoot, build, and share. Here are a handful of moments from this summer that we keep coming back to.

@gearup_scrambler - Ride Off into the Sunset Some images just capture the feeling. Gearup_scrambler found the light, found the road, and found the perfect exit. Golden hour, handlebars, horizon. Nothing more required.

Take a look: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYNdJnPsSp-/

@scramblermike - Ready for the DGR The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is always a highlight of the motorcycling calendar with style, solidarity, and a great cause. Scrambler Mike arrived looking every bit the part. A proper showing. https://www.instagram.com/p/DYfewyLjAxN/

@puko.moto - Thruxton 1200 & the Cone-Shaped Slip-Ons Puko.moto always comes up with the perfect picture, and the colours are on point as always. His Thruxton 1200 spreads its tunes through our cone-shaped slip-ons, and the result says everything about what we're here to do at Hitchcox Motorcycles — sound and style, inseparable, both at the absolute forefront. https://www.instagram.com/p/DXhhEZzDd9k/

There's still plenty of road left in this summer. We'll be out in it and we'd love to see you in it too. Tag us, ride loud, and keep the good stuff coming.
