Recent Hitchcox Motorcycles Exhaust Reviews

Every Hitchcox Motorcycles exhaust is handcrafted in our workshop in Brackley. The people best placed to judge them are the riders who fit them. Here are some of our recent reviews from Triumph owners, in their own words.

The sound: deep, not overdone

Sound is the first thing most riders mention after buying an exhaust fro Hitchcox Motorcycles.

Each product is carefully developed to deliver a balanced, refined sound profile that evolves through the rev range. Drawing on Tom’s background in high-performance exhaust engineering, every design is developed to create a distinct tone for each bike while improving your bike’s throttle response.

Anthony, who fitted slip-ons to his Triumph Speed 400, wrote: “looks really nice , and a nice deep note just like a proper Triumph”.

Beverley D., Triumph Speedmaster drag pipes: “Bike sounds more ‘throaty’ without being too loud, turns a few heads!”

Dean S., Triumph Bobber slip-ons: “Not only do they sound awesome without being offensive just look at them 👌”

Nick K., Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS: “They have unique ‘low rumble’ that makes it easier to actually feel what’s happening with the bike.”

Legend, Triumph Scrambler 1200 X: “it sounds like the best kind of trouble coming your way.”

Santi, Triumph Speed Twin 1200: “Es brutal el acabado y el sonido ni mucho ni poco.” (The finish is brutal and the sound neither too much nor too little.)

Craftsmanship, fit and finish

Our build and quality is something we take pride in and it's one of the reasons Hitchcox Motorcycles is widely known for the British craftsmanship behind the after-market exhausts.

All Hitchcox Motorcycles exhausts are designed to complement the motorcycle it’s built for. Proportion, line and finish are considered just as carefully as sound and performance, ensuring each system enhances the looks of your bike.

Joseph, Triumph Street Scrambler shotgun pipes: “The fabrication work is flawless and the welds are beautiful.”

Rick L., Triumph T120 slip-ons: “Superb quality and fit.”

Cédric, Triumph Speed Twin 1200: “qualité irréprochable” (impeccable quality).

Fernando T., Triumph Bobber drag pipes: “Great exhaust, perfect look for the bobber, totally worth the wait.”

Fitting your exhaust

We often hear triumph riders highlight the experience behind the install of their new exhaust, and they’re honest about it.

Mike E., Triumph T120: “The fit is spot on too, including the gaskets made it far easier to fit.”

Bruce C., Triumph Bobber drag pipes: “Awesome pipes beautifully made relatively easy to install and make the bike sound awesome and looking better”.

If you’re unsure on the instillation process, get in touch with us or ask a professional fitter.

Worth the wait

As our exhausts are handcrafted from premium materials and finished with the highest level of details, lead times can range from 4-8 weeks. During winter, lead times tend to drop in the quieter riding season, a great time to get your bike prepared for the Spring!

“Worth the wait” appears again and again.

Nick K. said of his Speed Twin exhausts. “They were well worth waiting for.”

Dean S., on his third set of pipes across different bikes: “Always worth the wait.”

Ben B., Triumph Scrambler: “My pipes came and it was not only worth the wait but every penny I paid for them.” His advice: “Get one, thank Hitchcox Motorcycles later.”

Service from order to delivery

Something we hear again and again is riders positive experinces receiving their exhaust from us.

Rick L.: “Informed from order through manufacture to delivery every step was great”.

Beverley D.: “Great service and regular updates throughout whilst waiting for the finished pipes. Delivery was on time.”

Jasman, Triumph Rocket 3: “Very good customer service”.
