Triumph's Classics and Custom Builds night | Hitchcox Motorcycles and Lee Morrison
Triumph Bobber: The Hitchcox Aftermarket Exhaust Built for Lee Morrison
When Triumph Motorcycles invited us to their factory in Hinckley for a Classics & Custom Builds night, it was to showcase a bike we're proud to have played a part in. A custom Triumph Bobber built for stunt coordinator Lee Morrison, fitted with an Hitchcox Motorcycles aftermarket exhaust.
Lee Morrison: from No Time To Die to a custom Triumph Bobber
If you've watched any big-screen action sequence in the last couple of decades, you've more than likely seen Lee Morrison's work. He's the stunt coordinator behind blockbusters including James Bond's No Time To Die, Dune: Part Two and The Bourne Ultimatum and he's no stranger to Triumph Motorcycles.
For months, Triumph's design workshop team worked behind closed doors with Lee and the No Time To Die stunt team to configure several of the film's featured bikes. So when Lee wanted a unique ride of his own, Triumph helped him create a one-off custom Bonneville Bobber.
Why upgrade your Triumph Bobber exhaust
The Bobber is the more muscular member of the Triumph Bonneville family, a stripped-back, torque-rich cruiser that practically demands an exhaust upgrade. The standard system does the job, but for a bike this characterful, an aftermarket exhaust is where the personality really comes through.
So when it came to giving Lee's build its voice, he turned to Hitchcox Motorcycles.
The Hitchcox Motorcycles aftermarket exhaust range
Lee chose a full aftermarket exhaust system crafted to enhance the Bobber's minimalist aesthetic while delivering a real lift in performance and sound.
The full system complements the clean lines of the Triumph Bobber and brings with it the unmistakable Hitchcox Motorcycles soundtrack, the reason riders across the UK come to us for their Triumph Bobber exhaust upgrade.
It's one thing to build an aftermarket exhaust for a customer's weekend ride. It's another to have your work chosen for the personal machine of a James Bond stunt coordinator and then displayed at the Triumph factory itself.
Showcased at the Triumph factory in Hinckley
Being invited to Hinckley as guests of Triumph, with Lee Morrison's custom Bobber out front for visitors to see, is exactly the kind of recognition we're proud of. It's proof that the exhaust systems leaving our workshop stand alongside some serious company.
