Triumph Scrambler 400 X - Slip-Ons

$576.00

Our slip-on exhaust for the Scrambler 400 X is engineered to make transforming the sound of your bike easy.

This reverse cone exhaust highlights the single-cylinder tunes of the bike, adding a beautiful bass tone while keeping an acceptable decibel level in mind. They slide right onto the original headers and are firmly held in place using the original mounting points of the frame. The reverse cone shape contributes to the typical thump, as the exhaust gasses get the chance to expand before leaving the exhaust.

These slip-ons are fitted with removable open DB killers, secured into place with M5 bolts within the exhaust exits.

Designed and developed in the UK, the Low Mount Slip-On for the Scrambler 400 X is carried out in high-class 304 stainless steel. Thanks to a lovely brushed finish, they stand out as a key feature on your bike whilst blending in with the overall looks.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS IT EASY TO INSTALL A HITCHCOX MOTORCYCLES EXHAUST SYSTEM?

All our products make use of the original OEM mounting points, and they are constructed so that it’s easy to install either a full system or slip-on mufflers from Hitchcox Motorcycles. It is our experience that most motorcycle enthusiasts with basic technical knowledge are able to install our products, but if in doubt it is wise to contact a motorcycle mechanic.

WILL I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING TO MY BIKE, SUCH AS A REMAP, FLASH/RE-TUNE?

Our exhausts do not require additional work after they are fitted. However, because our exhausts allow for more performance from your bike, a remap or re-tune is recommended (especially in the case of our full systems).

ARE HITCHCOX MOTORCYCLES EXHAUSTS ROAD LEGAL?

We create aftermarket products that come without a statement of compliance. It depends on local regulations if it is allowed to use our products - or any aftermarket exhaust-, therefore we always advise our users to check the local rules first.

HOW MANY DECIBELS DOES MY BIKE PRODUCE WITH ONE OF YOUR EXHAUSTS?

It depends on the bike and which of our products is included. Reversed cone exhausts are less loud than a drag pipe for instance, but the volume will increase significantly compared to your stock exhaust system.

We have engineered all our products to create a great sound, and not necessarily the loudest sound available.

Improving the sound of their Triumph is one of the most common reasons that our customers decide to upgrade their exhaust with a Hitchcox product.

Bobber rider, Mark said: For the first few rides (after installing my exhaust fromHitchcox Motorcycles), I just let the bike sing to me.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?

Anything ordered through our shop can be paid with a credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and a transfer from your own bank account. We also have the option of checking out with Klarna, which allows you to buy now and pay later in monthly instalments.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?

All our products are available in A-grade 304 Stainless Steel, with the option to choose extremely lightweight titanium for our full systems. We use the same quality titanium as is used by Formula 1 teams for their exhaust systems.

WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF A HITCHCOX MOTORCYCLES EXHAUST?

All our exhausts save a significant amount of weight compared to your stock exhaust. You will find more information about the weight of all our products on their respective product pages on our website.

DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?

Yes, we ship all our products worldwide using via UPS and Parcelforce to ensure safe and speedy delivery.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMISE THE SOUND OF MY EXHAUST?

Yes, absolutely! With the Design Your Own service, we can engineer the sound of your exhaust to create the sound you’ve dreamed of.
