Important Update: Choosing the Right Slip-Ons for Your Triumph Bobber

At Hitchcox Motorcycles, we want to ensure your Bobber gets the perfect fit the first time. Triumph has recently updated the exhaust design for the 2025 model year onwards, which fundamentally changes how our slip-on exhausts connect to your bike.
To avoid ordering the wrong parts, please check your bike’s connection type against the guide below.

The Key Difference: How is your CAT connected?

The main change lies in the Catalytic Converter (CAT). On newer models, Triumph has moved from a clamped assembly to a permanent, welded design.

Which one do I have?

1. Pre-2025: The "Clamped" System

If your Bobber was manufactured before 2025, your exhaust system is modular. You will see visible exhaust clamps (as shown in your first image) securing the link pipes. Because of this layout, our slip-on exhausts for these years are manufactured with a specific bend at the end to ensure they align correctly with the factory plumbing.

2. 2025 & Onwards: The "Welded" System

On the latest 2025+ models, Triumph has welded the link pipes permanently to the CAT. Since the link pipes are now a fixed part of the bike's mid-section, a bend in the slip-on is no longer required. For these bikes, you need our Straight Pipe slip-ons, which slide directly onto the factory welded extensions.

Summary for Ordering:

If you see clamps: Order the Pre-2025 (Bent) version.

If you see welds (no clamps): Order the 2025+ (Straight) version.

Still unsure which version you need? We’re here to help! Feel free to snap a photo of your current exhaust connection and send it over to us—we’ll make sure you get the right set for your build.
